Boiler repairs. Most boiler problems are a boiler that has stopped, keeps losing pressure or shows a fault code. In older terraces and semis the cause is often a worn pump, a sticking valve or sludge in pipework that has been in place for decades. Boiler servicing. A yearly service catches wear before it turns into a winter breakdown, and keeps most manufacturer warranties valid. Every service includes flue and combustion checks, and you get a written record to keep. See our boiler servicing page.

Boiler installation. When a boiler is old, unreliable or no longer worth repairing, we fit a replacement that suits the home. In a 1930s semi that still has a water tank in the loft, that often means choosing between a combi and a system boiler with a hot water cylinder. Commercial boiler repairs. Shops, offices and community buildings in the town centre and along Washway Road need their heating working to stay open. Our commercial boiler repair service triages each fault, leaves a written fault report after every repair and, on modular plant, keeps the working boilers running where it is safe to do so.

Common issues in Sale include ageing combi boilers failing in winter, uneven heating in long terrace runs, noisy or seized system pumps and radiators clogged with sludge.

In a cold snap, the condensate pipe on a modern boiler can freeze where it runs outside, and the boiler shuts down. It is a common winter call-out and is often a quick fix.
